My friend & I took the "Lights of South Korea & Japan Plus Mt. The tour guide did not even know where it was and we had to drag our suitcases for quite a distance in the hot sun over cibblestoned streets. Imagine - we got off the tour in Goslar to continue on our own and we were not even dropped in front of the train station. I have done many of these tours in Europe with Globus, Viator and other tour opetators and had no issues with them. Would I do another Europamundo tour? Probably not until they improve the entire experience end to end. These Europamundo tours are clearly not designed for English speakinng persons from a value for money perspective and lack consistency of quality and standards. There was a lot of back and forth and things got lost in translation from the start. I also had issues while booking the tour as I felt not enough details were provided and I constantly had to write to Tour Radar and Europamundo and wait at least two days for a response from the latter so that we could properly plan our travel. I should also note that we are from the Caribbean where hospitality, good manners and customer service is very important. Furthermore, I was very upset when the coach driver "Paco" who was not very friendly told my travel compsnion that she could not eat pizza on the coach while allowing a young American to do so later and while everyone was eating and drinking on the bus given the many hours we spent in transit on the bus. I am a tourism industry executive and a native English speaker who understands Spanish to an intermediate level and I recognized that the English translation and level of detail provided by the tour guides was definitely not on par with what was said in Spanish. Why was that? We were all back on the same coach the next day in spite of the half explanation that we got. We were not allowed to stay at the much better and nearby Maritim Hannover airport hotel on the last night where the Spanish speaking tour participants and one American family were allowed to stay. The quality of the hotel accommodation and available amenities was at times questionable especially at the Wyndham Hannover Atrium which is very dated and had no A/C in the rooms, very stained carpets, dirty walls, musty smells, outdated decor and furnishings and old fashioned non electronic room keys in 2022. While the tour visited many interesting and beautiful cities, towns and villages, it wss quite hectic and physically demanding at times. I just completed Europamundo's 8 day "Germany's Best" Berlin to Berlin tour today.
